Came back from DOE. Everything absolutely aches, my legs, my neck and shoulders and my hips. Stupid 13kg pack and those god forsaken hills.
1st Day
Had to get up at like 6am, got ready and everything. Took around 2 hours to get the Somerset and went high on seeing all the animals. Jane was simply sleeping. Newaz, started hiking and then soon we were at the bottom of this humongous hill. started hiking up and actually wasn't that bad.
Followed the pink ribbons and track. The view was pretty... ^^ Had lunch at the 2nd intersection on the fire trail. then continued hiking for ages. Reached the camp site at like 3:30pm then set up tents and talked. Went to collect firewood and then night fell. Cooked around the fire and had a NICE HOT DINNER!!! XD when we got into the tent i like did not sleep for the whole night...
2nd Day
Walked through tonnes of cow crap and managed not to step on any. then there was that mud place. Yvonne and melaine, i now absolutely understand wat u guys were rambling on about. beginning was good cause i stepped on the grass bits (thanks yvonne for the advice) till near the end, ppl kept stopping so i had to stop and sank....
started climbing up that hill and had to change my socks^^ the prickly bushes are EVIL!! i swear they purposely plant them there to annoy us. newaz, reached the checkpoint early and started eating all the food we had left. got picked up and driven pack.
now i'm at home with a screwed up ankle. my left should is like dieing and i am so ditching skool 2moz. suck ppl who still have to go
